Where better place to hold it.

The Nippon Open takes place in the remote ALTS Bandai Resort in Fukushima, Japan. It is the largest resort in the Tohoku area and has an unparalleled access to the slopes, where floodlit runs give you the opportunity to ride up until 9pm every night. With funparks, pipes and BX courses dotted around the mountain there is a little gem to be found around every corner of this amazing place. The area also gets an incredible amount of light, cold snow which makes it a haven for anyone who wants to take a trip off the beaten track and claim a few turns in the pow.

The Burton European Open, (European Open Laax, Switzerland) is the only Open Snowboarding Event in Europe, with freestyle competitions in the formats superpipe & slopestyle.
